Julio Castro Videla is a renowned international tennis coach from Argentina with over thirty-five years of experience working and developing professional tennis players.
His website offers insight and detailed information in the area of education around the world.
His journey teaching tennis began in 1983 and he has worked in all known areas within the sport. Starting as an apprentice he later became teacher, coach, international coach, and National Team captain, in order to eventually become Director of Development for multiple top players from different countries.

His work nowadays has shifted to the field of high-performance development, mentoring athletes looking to become part of the worldwide elite.
With many years in the international environment he has accrued vast professional experience managing successful programs.

His experiences as a player, the information acquired as a specialized training coach (for over fifteen years), his work with ITF, ATP and WTA touring players, amongst other accomplishments have made him one of the few professionals to work with various National Teams within Latin America and be trusted with the formation of their juniors.
The possibility of developing players from different latitudes has led him to become Official Captain for several National Teams.

Countries with historical tennis tradition such as Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Venezuela, Paraguay and others have opened their doors to his expertise.

He has also collaborated with important institutions such as COSAT (South American Tennis Confederation), COTECC (Central American Tennis Confederation), and ITF (International Tennis Federation) which is the most important organization in the tennis world.

The continuous learning and constant honing of his professional skills have provided him with the necessary resources to excel in information management and optimize the players' workload in order to accomplish great results.

Since 2009, Julio has established himself in Florida, USA and does technical work as General Director of Development for TENNIS TEAM 1. He is in charge of diagnosing, scheduling and executing programs for individual foreign and domestic players: all in an effort to form a select group of elite international athletes offers a different concept in the development of tennis players. Members of the team are carefully selected and work together with a group of highly trained professionals in order to reach the highest level of competition.

BUILDING ELITE ATHLETES
35 years of international tennis coaching experience including development work top #100 ITF Player, ATP, WTA and NCCA players. Former Capitan of official team from the AAT (Argentina), COSAT, COTEC and ITF (International tennis federation) including work with Tennis Associations and federation from Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Panama y Paraguay. To this day, Julio has coached in more than 140 ITF Junior Tournament, 70 ITF Pro Tournament, ATP and WTA. Also, in 3 World Junior Championship, led champion teams in 6 South American Tournament (age 12 and under, 14, 16 and 18 years old) and consequently successfully coached Carlos Zarhi, World Champion under 14.

To achieve the appropriate technical tasks, we must read the information received very well to make the diagnosis, programming, planning and execution of programs for each player in individual format.

As the main coach my goal is to diagnose the player potential, create a specific program and methodology for the player that offers all the necessary elements to perform the most appropriate execution, with the sole objective that takes the athlete to achieve final goal. In addition to my experience and personal qualities, I have a solid educational foundation and a passion for sports and fitness. I currently perform some of them at a high-level to complement my competitive vision and take care of my physical condition.

Under-14 tennis player crowned champion in Paris. Chilean Carlos Zarhi won the final of the Open des Jeunes in Paris, defeating local player Jocelyn Ouanna 7-6, 6-1. Now, the Chilean tennis player has tournaments in the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, in addition to the Under-14 World Championships in the Czech Republic.
